Yay! Another WIN!!!

Remember my post about not winning very often? Well, I won again and I am so excited! I didn't win Biggest Loser this time, this time I won from Picky Palate! I follow Picky Palate's Blog. She's a cook and I love most of her recipes that I've tried. She comes up with some great stuff and she also has fun giveaways. I usually try to win these but there's a lot of people that enter so the chances are pretty slim. I even joined Twitter because of her (gives me another entry) and she is the only one I follow on Twitter. ha ha

Prepping for Halloween!

We're excited for Halloween!!! We got the Halloween music going, pumpkins are painted, and costumes are figured out! Almost there...

Oooh, I LOVE It!

Welcome to the darkest room in our house...until now! Our living room before had a fan, but no lights on the fan! (Stupidest thing I have ever heard of - and it was an ugly fan). That room has always been so dark at night. To help with it, we got a lamp a while ago, but it still seemed way dark.

But now, it's so bright and pretty!!! I won the $25.00 gift card to Lowes for the Biggest Loser so Justin and I went shopping on Saturday and picked this out! I seriously LOVE it! It adds so much to the room. Who would have thought a light would do that?

I get so excited to do little things to our home to make it more "ours."

In our house, we're all up eating breakfast

(If only I had realized 2 hours sooner why Mya was awake then maybe all 4 of us wouldn't have been squished in my bed and I could have actually gotten some sleep from the 3:30 - 5:45 stretch).

(Yes, Parker went back in his bed when he woke up to eat)

What, were you still sleeping? Don't feel too bad, so was Justin...in fact he slept right through breakfast!

Hopefully, this doesn't happen again! I cherish my sleep.

So I had this dream...

So last night I was feeling a cold coming on so I asked Justin if we had any Airborne. I ended up finding some and took it before bed. Justin couldn't fall asleep last night so after I fell asleep he ended up going downstairs to watch TV to help him get tired. Before he went downstairs we had this conversation(remember I have already fallen asleep and on the bottle of Airborne it says to ask a doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding since there is such excessive amounts of vitamins and other stuff in it):

Justin: Did you take Airborne?
Me: Yes, I found some
Justin: I didn't think you could take that when you're pregnant
Me: I'm not pregnant
Justin: I meant-
Me: Breastfeeding? It's fine...

So because of that conversation combined with me doing the Biggest Loser, I had this dream:

I'm looking in the mirror noticing my stomach is getting tighter and flatter. I'm really excited about my results from working out and eating good. Then I notice a little bulge. I start feeling the bulge and can almost grab it. It's about the size of a kid's Nerf basketball, but it feels hard. Justin's standing next to me and I tell him, "I think it's a baby in there!"

Ha ha ha ha!!! I love my dreams. They always give me a good laugh the next day.

Sweet! I Won!

I don't win things a lot. I'm about 50/50 on games with Justin that we play. Some games he usually wins (there's a few games that I've never beat him) and there are other games that I usually win (not many, but that's why we play those ones a little more so I can keep up with the winning score). In elementary I won an universal remote control from a Snapple lid...but that about does it.

I like to win.

I'm competitive and love the feeling of winning. I am getting better at losing since I've married Justin and I'm getting better about winning, too (Justin's been teaching me how to be a better winner-but could obviously use some improvement, hence this post). I think it runs in my blood because all of us Wayment girls are competitive.

Today I won. Did I come in first? No. But I still won and I am way excited. This just made my day!

I'm doing the Biggest Loser my sister, Rebecca has put together. There are 50 people doing it and we are 3 weeks in out of 16. Each week we are given a weekly challenge. This week's was keeping an exercise journal and incorporating more exercise into your week. If you lost the most weight that week and completed the challenge, you win one of many prizes available. This week I came in second for my weight loss and completed the challenge. The girl that got first didn't complete the challenge, so the prize goes to me.

What did I win??? I chose a Lowe's $25 gift card! Why Lowes? I don't know. I would probably expect me to choose the Target gift card, especially since they have a way cute sweater I want. But there are so many little things I would like to change in my house like lights and fans and faucets that I'm excited to have this go towards one of those things. Did I say I was excited?!
