First Snow of the Season!

So the first snow storm wasn't much of one and it melted pretty quick. But before it all melted, Mya insisted on going outside to play in it! So we got them all bundled in their coats (yes, Mya is still wearing her pajamas) and let them run free for a little while. Parker picked up on everything Mya did. They were throwing snow (wanna-be snowballs) and watching their foot prints form as they walked. They are at such a cute and fun age!

Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year with these two! They were both at such a cute age! We missed the trunk or treat so we went to my old neighborhood to go trick or treating! At first it was so funny. By that point every house we had gone to, we went inside. We had gone to Justin's grandparents' house, my grandpa's, Justin's parents', Justin's other set of grandparents', then my parents. Then we started at my parents' next door neighbor who invited us to go in. The next house was Stewart's and they also invited our kids in. So by that point, Parker thought that's just what you did. So the next house (a family I didn't know) Parker just started walking in. So funny. He's also at an age that people thought he was cute so they didn't care that after they gave him candy, he would reach in and grab more to take (not just one more piece either, it was usually what his hands could hold). It was a really fun night. We went down and back that street and went back to Grandma and Grandpa's for homemade doughnuts. After that, we headed home for pizza and watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. It was such a fun Halloween!
The picture with her eyes closed, she's showing off her make up.

*Story about Mya's wig: A couple of months before Halloween, I found the cutest Rapunzel wig for Mya. I decided to wait until I had a week that I didn't need to buy diapers or other bigger expenses to buy the wig. Once October hit, I went to go buy the wig and all of a sudden the wig was out of stock and the places that did have it in stock had raised the price from $17.00 (before shipping) to $45.00 for a wig...just because of the demand. Made me so mad so just for pride's sake, I refused to buy it and decided to go searching for one. After going to many stores and even considering extensions, we found a Rapunzel wig in the dress up section at Walmart. It was a little messy, but Mya was so excited!
