Mya has had me laughing so hard lately with the funny comments she'll say.
On Sunday, we were getting out of the car and her new thing she likes is if we unbuckle her and she gets herself out and climbs up to the front seat to go out those doors. So before she started to climb up front I asked her to get her purse and hand it to me. So she did, then I said to hand me her blanket and back pack so I could carry them out, too. Her response...."No Thank You" and just kept climbing up front. I was so surprised, I had no comment back and just laughed. She's tried it a couple times since, though, and it hasn't worked as well as the first time.
I was in my room the other day and Mya walked in and asked me, "A little help?"
Mya was at my mom's while I was at work yesterday. Mya went to the front window and asked:
Mya: "Where's my mom?"
My mom: "At Lisa's house working"
"Why?"
"To make some money"
"Oh, my dad's at work getting money, too."
The latest is today's. Mya's so into princesses, but to her, the prince is just as important as the princess. She's always talking about "dancing with the prince at the ball" and loves the ending in Cinderella where they get married. Today we watched Sleeping Beauty. She just stared as they danced in the woods together and then she asked me if they were going to get married. I told her they would at the end of the movie. Well, in that movie, it ends with them dancing, but it's just assumed that they'll get married. So the movie got over and I turned it off. Mya just started crying because she didn't get to see them get married. After I explained to her that they'll get married after they dance, but it doesn't show it, this was our conversation (while she's still crying very dramatically):
Mya: "I want to get married!"
Me: "You want to get married?"
"Ya, I want to get married."
"You will one day when you're a big girl."
"I want to get married-I AM a big girl!"

Daddy's Girl
Justin has Thursdays off now and that's Mya's day to spend with her dad! Today they went to the Outdoor Expo.
Mya caught a fish (but was kind of scared of it though)

learned how to blow a duck call

saw lots of deer and elk

held a baby bear (and got to pet it for a while since there weren't a lot of kids)

and got a pretty cool sticker

She loves her days with her dad! They have so much fun together. Mya told me all about the bear when I got home tonight and that she held baby Pooh Bear. Thanks love, you're such a good dad!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Did you remember your green? We sure did!
We started off with GREEN PANCAKES
We started off with GREEN PANCAKES
put GREEN BOWS and CLIPS in Mya's hair
put on GREEN EYESHADOW and had painted our NAILS GREEN
wore GREEN PANTS and made sure there was GREEN on our SHIRTS
and made sugar cookies with GREEN FROSTING
What are cookies without licking the beaters???
(Oh, and she's not posing. This is her pure enjoyment with every lick of cookie dough)
If you asked Mya "what's today?" she would tell you "St. Pat's Day!" We had such a fun day!

Disney On Ice
Last week we were able to go to Disney on Ice, thanks to Justin's parents who took the whole fam! I was way excited for Mya. We talked about it for a couple of days before and the day of she didn't stop talking of seeing Princesses and Mickey Mouse.
When we first got there, they had a Princess show for the first hour before the Disney on Ice started. We were one of the first ones there so we got right in front to see the princesses come out. They had Tiana and Cinderella. Mya was excited to see both, but you could definitely tell her favorite when they came out. When Tiana came out, Mya stared at her and would turn around for pictures really good, but when Cinderella came out, it was like Mya just saw the biggest Celebrity in the entire world. She was seriously in awe and wouldn't take her eyes off of her. It took us a while to get her to even turn around for a picture because she didn't want to stop looking at her. It was the sweetest thing and for me, I was almost just as excited as Mya was because I knew how excited and happy Mya was. Seeing her so happy that night was so fun and such a "mom moment" I guess you could call it. During the Disney on Ice show, I asked Mya at one point who she thought would come out next and she got so excited and said "CINDERELLA?!??!!" I knew Cinderella wasn't going to be coming out so I didn't ask her anymore so she wouldn't get her hopes up.

I had mentioned to Mya the day before that she might see Mickey Mouse, but then I wasn't sure so I told her that he might not be there, but we'd have to see. It was so good when the first to come out was Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The entire show Mya was just glued. I think Mya got a little restless right before intermission from sitting there so long, plus it was Lion King right then and she doesn't know that movie at all, so that was probably the only one that didn't keep her interest the entire time. But I was really surprised how much she did get into it. We had such good seats, too so that probably definitely helped.

This is Mya watching the show...it was so funny because she was just glued to what the characters were doing. They had Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy. After that they had the Cars then Little Mermaid. Mya really liked the part when Arial "danced with the prince at the ball" is how she explains it, but her and Prince Eric Dance together then Kissed. She's so cute. They also had bubbles going everywhere falling from the ceiling and she loved that. After Little Mermaid was Lion King. The funny thing about that one was they had Rafiki come out, but he came out of a different part of the ice sheet than everyone else was coming out. So I told Mya, "Look, there's a monkey" and she got this nervous look thinking a real monkey was there (she likes animals, but gets way nervous when she's around them). The rest of the show after the intermission was Tinkerbell and all of the Fairies.

I didn't get pictures of everything because my camera died half way though. It was so fun and I'm so glad Mya loved it. She talked about it a ton the next day and goes through all of the characters she saw there. Thanks Larry and Dawn! It was a way fun night!
Brand New "Pack Pack"
Mya LOVES her new "Pack Pack" as she calls it! I'm done with diaper bags with her! I've decided she doesn't need a lot and she can carry the few things she does need: diaper, wipes, and cup. She loves it though. We went to a couple of stores trying to find a small one that didn't have Dora the Explorer on it or some other cheesy plastic ones. This one's even better...it's got PRINCESSES!!! At least it's all material so it'll hold up good. She was pretty excited at the store. She fell asleep on the drive to each store, but quickly woke up each time to look for a back pack. She was so cute about it. I asked her if she thought it would fit okay and she quickly put her arms in it to show me that it would and kept saying, "See, it fits!" She was so anxious to buy it. There was a lady in front of us paying for some shoes and Mya was so anxious she kept trying to get around her to put her bag on the counter to pay for it. Some girls just get excited when they shop!

Oh, Baby!
9 weeks left and it's starting to hit me! (Maybe even be 8 weeks if I go a week early like I did with Mya). I am not ready for this baby to come! I did go buy a bunch of stuff a couple of weeks ago so I'm feeling a little better, but I still have a bigger check list than I would like. Last week we went and bought the paint for his room. To be honest, I'm a little nervous to paint it. I love color on walls and love seeing other people's houses where they'll go bold and do a dark color. So I'm nervous because I decided to go dark and be a little more bold this time. I'm excited to see how it all turns out. My goal this week is to get the baby's room ready to paint. That means clearing out the computer room...and finding a new home for it all! Wish me luck! I'll be doing before and after pictures of this whole project when it's done!

Mya's Very Bizarre Sense of Fashion
I've noticed the last few pictures I've taken of Mya all have to do with what she's wearing. She gets very excited to dress herself lately and if we're not going anywhere, I let her wear it until she gets tired of it. So here are her fashion trends I'm sure will catch on soon:
Here, she is sporting the thermal pajamas with some style and accessorizing it with a butterfly belt and adult fuzzy socks. Her hair is fashionally pulled up into a loose ponytail (her favorite way to have me do her hair lately).
I brought Mya back the lotion and shower cap from our hotel and she loved it. We both had a good laugh when she looked in the mirror.

This is the latest she came up with today. She decided to go through all of her bows in a certain container and pulled out any that weren't the head-band style. She then asked me to put all of them in her hair. Oh she makes me laugh! I love my days with her!
