Congrats Rebecca!!!

My sister Rebecca (who lives in Florida) found out today she is having a boy. I so guessed that. But everyone's so excited! I'm hoping I can fly out for the blessing, but it depends on plane tickets. If not, it'll be earlier in the summer that I go. But I definitely need to visit her and am excited to finally go this year!

Conference Weekend

I have been looking forward to last weekend and the upcoming weekend. I just wanted a weekend where we would be able to spend time as a family. For conference on Sunday, we ended up going for a drive up Ogden Canyon and back through the North Ogden Divide. It was pretty with all of the snow and it was just nice to go on a drive and spend time together. Later that afternoon after dinner at Justin's parent's house, we went for a walk outside. Mya got to ride in Great-Grandpa's tractor (I wish I had my camera) then go pet animals. Mya has always been so scared of animals. She loves looking at the neighbors' dogs, but only from a distance. She never really wants to go check them out. But I think her fear of animals is over, or at least we've made great progress! We went to Justin's parent's neighbor's house and they have goats, dogs, horses, cats and kittens, and a pony. At first, Mya was shaking when we walked up to the horses. But by the end, she was voluntarily petting the horse's nose and wanting to touch the kitty (which we had to be careful because their eyes weren't even open yet). But she loved it and I need to just get her around animals more often and she'll be fine. I told Justin we could get a puppy, as long as it stays a puppy...It was just a fun weekend and I'm looking foward to Easter weekend!

Future Interior Decorator?

I'm thinking that Mya maybe gets tired of things going where they belong and needs a change once in a while. Sunday morning she woke up before I was ready to get up, so I let her play while I laid in bed. After a while, I hear the computer turn on then I hear her walking around. She was walking kind of loud for the carpet, so I checked it out and found her pushing the computer chair into the bathroom and shutting the door behind. She ended up leaving the chair there so I have no idea why she thought it needed to be in the bathroom, but I thought it was really funny.
Busted. Once I went in the bathroom, she went to push the chair back into the computer room. Oh, and when I put the chair back in the computer room, she had logged in under Justin on the computer. Funny girl!

Perfect?

This is for all of you who never think Mya cries or throw fits. I think Mya is the best and such a well behaved child, but she does have her moments when she's not getting exactly what she wants that she throws herself on the ground and cries and sometimes bangs her head on the floor because she's mad. She was crying this time because I was trying to take her picture and I was holding the camera and she wasn't.
Even though she's crying, I still think she's adorable!

Sleep Over

A few weeks ago, Mya had a sleep over with Gavin and Megan (my niece and nephew). We were actually babysitting, but Mya thought they were there for her. She loved having them there to play with her and hated when it was time for bed. But here are some pictures from that night.

What's a party without ice cream? Especially play dough ice cream! Because Megan was sitting on the cuddlebag and eating an ice cream cone, Mya had to, too!

The Things We Go Through

I love being a mom, but sometimes, I could do without the poop and throw up! The last couple of weeks, Mya's been really sensitive. I thought I was done with the blow outs and throwing up months ago! But it's been the last 2 or 3 weeks that's she's been going through this. Yesterday morning, she threw up twice before work, but she seemed fine every other way, so we still went. But towards the end of work, she had a blow out. She hasn't been eating very well either. Then tonight, she threw up on her and me at Justin's parent's house so we had to run home to change. After the priesthood session, we all went to dinner, and she had a blow out. Luckily I ran back inside to grab pajamas when I had come home earlier to change her clothes. But I'm not sure what's wrong with her. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I'm not sure if it's her milk, teeth, or if she's eating too much sugar. I'm hoping it's the sugar and not the milk. I'm going to do no juice or sweets this week to test that out. Hopefully it gets better. (Oh, and to help me do this, please don't give her any sweets or juice so I can figure this out). Hopefully I can figure this out before Easter!
