We decided to try out our trailer and take it camping for the 4th! We headed up to Clear Creek. The campgrounds were flooded, but we just went further up the road and camped. We definitely had fun. Each night we would drive around and look for deer. One night the deer were pretty far away so Justin had Mya sit on his lap and look through the binoculars. He asked her, "What do you see?" "Rocks." So as he moved it down a little she yells out "Oh, I see an animal!" It was cute. Sunday we went to City of Rocks. It was cool to see. We stopped at the visitor center in Almo, Idaho and let the kids pick somthing out. Mya picked out a t-shirt and Parker picked out a marmot stuffed animal! We tried to sway him to other cuter stuffed animals, but that's what he wanted and anything else he would just throw as he held onto his marmot. It was funny and Justin and I were surprised they would even make a Yellow-bellied Marmot!
The trailer isn't finished yet, but the outside was done and I cleaned the inside. Hopefully next year we'll be able to finish the inside!
This trip was a little rough on Parker, though! He fell so many times. One time out of the trailer, another time just into some weeds, but he had an allergic reaction to the weeds where he smashed his face into them, plus he just fell a couple of other times, too! But overall, we had a lot of fun and were glad to get away as a family!
