Pineview

In the middle of July, we went with Justin's family up to Pineview for camping. This was taking place of their annual Lake Powell trip since we wouldn't be going to Lake Powell with Parker just born and I think Trichelle's family had some things. So they decided to plan something close so we could come and go as we needed to.

It happed to be a really cold weekend. We went up Thursday night and it rained Friday and Saturday. So they ended up not even bringing the boat up. We played games, went on walks between rain storms, and it was nice just hanging out and being away from home. Sunday and Monday were nice though. On Monday, we played kickball, football, and frisbee. Mya and Ivy kept talking and asking about going swimming. We knew the water was freezing, but decided to let them figure that out and that they didn't really want to go swimming. We got them all ready and headed down there...only that the water was cold but not as cold as we expected. So all of the kids ended up playing in the water for a while. It was a way fun weekend though and it got me way excited for more summer camping trips.
Oh, and Mya now loves rainbows since we saw one while we were up there. She'll now start drawing a whole bunch of lines on a piece of paper and say "Know what I'm drawing?...A rainbow."
